Episode 84: Cyber-Silverfish

Episode 83: A Dip in the Crimson Pool

It's a reference, wrapped in a reference, inside a reference.  Whoo, Mark Gatiss had a lot of fun with this one.  And so did we.  "The Crimson Horror" is just chocked full.  The Doctor gets petrified, Clara gets a chair, and Strax gets directions!

Episode 82: Fire Woman

Come with us and you'll see what we think of "Journey to the Center of the TARDIS".  As the 50th Anniversary approaches the old story references start to pile up.  Is that Tom Baker's voice wafting around in the background?

Also, Ian Kirk has sent us something from his corner.

Fire Woman by The Cult can be found on their 1989 album "Sonic Temple".

Episode 81: The Witch in the Well

It's hard to hide the fact that Doctor Who has been getting spookier as this season progresses.  "Hide" is no exception.  This week we review this ghostly story and find the truth behind the White Lady.

We've also got quantum talk, solving mysteries and classic references!

Episode 80: Hungry Like the Lizard

Mark Gatiss does "Alien"! Doctor Who does spooky! David Warner does...everything that comes his way according to IMDb.  And we do a review!!  This week it's "Cold War", the third episode of the second half of Series 7.

Ian Kirk is back in his corner of the Toolbox this week with his take on this story, too.

"Hungry Like the Wolf" and it's album "Rio" by Duran Duran is available from iTunes (and probably your local oldies record store as well).

Episode 79: Who's That Girl

"The Rings of Akhaten", reviewed herein, has been a polarizing episode.  Half love it, half meh it.  We jump in and put our four cents in about this visually stunning story.  And some science, too.

Episode 78: Garcia, We Need Your Help

Baby girl, this is one wild story. If you've braved logging into your WiFi to get access to the internet in order to listen to this podcast...congratulations! You haven't been uploaded to the Cloud yet. Thank you, Mr. Moffat. Now we're all afraid of our souls being digitized and stored in someone's server. This week we review the return of Series 7 with "The Bells of St. John".

Episode 77: Death Blossom Song

To close out the hiatus we're reviewing the part two of the two parter Series 6 opener "Day of the Moon".  We've discovered lots of new insights and even close a plot hole or two.  Oh, yeah... listen closely and you'll hear a vaguely obscure '80s SciFi reference.  Enjoy!

Episode 76: The Ice Rabbits Cometh

In light of their upcoming return, we are discussing the Ice Warriors this week.  Who are they?  What did they look like (and what will they look like now)?  And most importantly, will they ssstill sssound liiike ssssnnakesssss?

And a bunch of other stuff that we ran off on tangents with.

Episode 75: The Impossible Rabbits

While reviewing The Impossible Astronaut for this week's episode we kept running into rabbits.  Since Easter (and the start of Series 7b) is just around the corner, this isn't supprising.  We discover some new stuff , and question some old stuff, in this story.  We also bring you some bits of convention news.  So step into the TARDIS with us, and don't for get to close the door behind you.

(Note: I realize that it's George R.R. Martin and not J.R.R. Martin.  I must have Tolkien on the brain. -Daisy)

Episode 74: Who Da Master

He's been called evil, crazy and crispy.  Of course, he prefers the name "The Master", and with that Tissue Compression Eliminator who are we to argue.  We're The Sonic Toolbox, that's who!  This week we take a look at the Master in all his regenerations and all the actors who have played him.

(Note: Sorry about the sound.  My microphone seemed to be having trouble that I didn't notice until editing.  I've done the best I could to fix it. -Daisy)

Episode 73: She Blinded Me With Science

...And hit me with technology!  Like brain chemical sucking machines and steam engines.  But we get into all that this week as we review "The Mark of the Rani".  Ooo, the science!  And some of it is real, historic science, too.

If you haven't seen it, it can be found on iTunes for a price, or on http://www.dailymotion.com/us.
